Nice variety of pages to color, some with more intricate and detailed pictures, others not so detailed. As others have said, there is one design per perforated page, and they are printed on good paper. I use colored pencils, so can't speak as to markers - but, to me the paper seems thick enough that there should not be any bleed-through. Prismacolor Premier pencils layered very easily, and blended with Gamsol with no issues. I am looking forward to coloring more in this book, the artwork all seems original and hand-drawn. Perfectly happy with this book!Edited to add: My second picture took me the better part of two days....of glorious fun!! I really like the use of bright colors, as you can probably tell.. :)
